What is CITIIS 2.0?

  • Full Form: City Investments to Innovate, Integrate and Sustain (CITIIS).
  • A component of the Smart Cities Mission (SCM), designed to enhance urban infrastructure with a focus on integrated waste management and climate-oriented reform actions.
  • Operates from 2023 to 2027, leveraging the experiences of CITIIS 1.0 (launched in 2018).
