Jiyo Parsi Scheme Portal

The Minister for Minority Affairs recently launched the Jiyo Parsi Scheme portal to help Parsi couples apply for the scheme.

Jiyo Parsi Scheme:This Central Sector Scheme aims to tackle the declining population of the Parsi community in India through scientific methods and structured interventions. It offers financial assistance to Parsi couples for medical treatment under standard medical protocols, as well as support for childcare and elderly dependent care.

Applicants and beneficiaries can check their application status and receive financial aid via Direct Benefit Transfer. Since its launch in 2013-14, the scheme has assisted in the birth of over 400 Parsi children.
